Justin Bieber’s grandmother was involved in a serious car accident in Ontario this weekend, TMZ reported Saturday.
Singer-songwriter Kathy’s step-grandmother, alongside his father Jeremy, was reportedly hit while she was stopped in her car on a city street.
News of the crash broke via a public Facebook community page dedicated to classic cars in the Stratford area. has reached out to Bieber officials for comment on the crash.

A photo of the aftermath of the incident made the rounds on the popular social media page, with smoke billowing from the red-and-white convertible.
Brandan Stevens, who may be related to the Baby singer, has reportedly posted that he was involved in the accident alongside Kathy.

When asked by other Facebook users what happened, he wrote on the page: “We were at a dead end when a car made a left turn a few cars in front of us. Then a distracted driver ended us in the back, they said she had to do 70.
He continued: “It wasn’t good that I had to pull my grandmother out of the car. could have gotten really bad if we stayed in there for 5 more seconds as the doors were tightly locked.’
Kathy has posed next to the car in the past, and she and Justin have stood together in several pictures, although admittedly not for several years.
