Justin Timberlake is “concerned” about what the former Britney Spears’ upcoming memoir The Woman In Me will reveal about her past romance, according to a new report.
The SexyBack hitmaker, 42, who dated Spears, 42, from 1999 to 2002, is said to be “very curious” about the star’s memoir, which will be released on October 24.
A source told Page Six: “He’s very curious to see what she’ll reveal about their relationship. ‘It’s eating at him.’
A publishing insider also denied that the book was a “takedown” from anyone, saying: “This is Britney finally getting the chance to tell her powerful story and it’s nothing more.”

Justin and Britney dated as teenagers after meeting in the Mickey Mouse Club and were an iconic star duo.
They broke up abruptly in 2002 and rumors soon arose that she had cheated on him.
His career went uphill. Albums and songs were promoted under the narrative that Spears had broken his heart. He even used a Britney lookalike in the music video for his 2002 hit “Cry Me A River.” Britney was vilified over her breakup.
The book will also detail the long-standing conservatorship under which Spears lived and which her father, Jamie Spears, controlled from 2008 to 2021.
The book’s summary reads: “A brave and astonishingly moving story of freedom, glory, motherhood, survival, faith and hope.”
Spears announced in an Instagram post that she would be writing a book in February 2022.
“Well, I’m currently writing a book and since it’s actually healing and therapeutic…it’s also difficult to bring up past events in my life…I’ve never been able to express myself openly!!!” she said.
The Toxic artist updated fans on social media last May about the status of the upcoming volume as well as the delays.
“I almost feel like my life in the industry has always been being the girl at school who was bullied and laughed at!!!” she said. “But in my case there is no superior person who could clarify this!!!”
She continued, “I think some people want to hear my story…either through a book or what have you??? I had to stop a few times!!! It may take a year, maybe longer, who knows… until I share my story!!!’

The Baby One More Time hitmaker recorded a small portion of the book and avoided sharing chapters about her family because the content was “too painful to retell,” TMZ recently reported.
In a statement to People released Friday, the artist said, “This book was a labor of love and all the emotions that come with it.”
Spears continued, “Reliving it all again was exhilarating, heartbreaking and emotional, to say the least. “For these reasons, I will only read a small portion of my audiobook.”
The star then gushed: “I’m so grateful to the amazing Michelle Williams for reading the rest,” and The Fabelmans actress, 43, also told the outlet in support of the singer: “I stand with Britney. “
Insiders also explained that the star chose not to tell chapters about her family “because she found it too painful to retell in her own words.”
Originally, publisher Gallery Books, an imprint of Simon & Schuster, had tried to get Legally Blonde actress Reese Witherspoon to record the book’s audio. However, she was not “available” to take the job.
