First the single, then the album, now Justin Timberlake is completing his solo return by confirming a world tour.

The former boy bander announced the big news while stopping by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to surf the guest couch.

The Forget Tomorrow World Tour will support JT's upcoming collection Everything I Thought It Was, his first solo album release in more than six years.

Released March 15, EITIW is Timberlake's sixth studio LP and the follow-up to Man of the Woods, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 as a solo album for the fourth consecutive year following its release in February 2018.

To warm up, the pop singer plays a Small capacity show in New York on Wednesday, January 31, at the 1,100-seat Irving Plaza.

Fallon elicited the tour news from JT in a completely matter-of-fact and rehearsed manner.

Is there anything else to announce, the late night show host asked his musical guest? Well, “we’re still putting together the set list for Irving Plaza,” Timberlake noted.

But wait, there was more.

“I’m going on tour,” was the dry answer.

The 10-time Grammy winner gave fans a taste of what's to come earlier this week with the release of “Selfish,” the first installment of EITIW. He'll be back on our screens this weekend when he appears as the musical guest on Saturday Night Live with Dakota Johnson as host.

Although his solo career was on hold, Timberlake returned to his boy band roots last year when he reunited with *NSYNC for “Better Place,” which accompanied the JT-starring animated family film “Trolls Band Together.” The track opened at No. 25, for *NSYNC's lucky 13th appearance on the Billboard Hot 100 and first appearance on the chart since “Girlfriend” featuring Nelly reached No. 5, way back in 2002.

As a solo artist, Timberlake has had 19 tracks in the top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100, including five No. 1s.

Details for the Forget Tomorrow World Tour have yet to be announced. Watch the big reveal from Fallon's late night show below.
