Justin Timberlake premieres the SECOND single from his upcoming album Everything I Thought I Was on Saturday Night Live

Justin Timberlake made his triumphant return to Saturday Night Live last night.

The 42-year-old SexyBack singer released the second single from his new album Everything I Thought I Was, due out March 15.

He performed the new song Sanctified along with the first single Selfish.

The new song, featuring Houston-based rapper Tobe Nwigwe, is the first album for Timberlake since 2018's Man of the Woods.

His previous release received a lukewarm response, so the “Cry Me a River” hitmaker is hoping for big numbers for his new album.

In April, the “What Goes Around Comes Around” crooner will embark on the North American leg of his “Forget the World” tour.

On Saturday evening, Justin also sang Dakota Johnson's opening monologue with Jimmy Fallon, 49, who appeared as Barry Gibb, announcing the return of the duo's talk show sketch “The Barry Gibb.”

Timberlake plays Robin Gibb in the constant gag. Fallon and the former NSYNC member first introduced the skit in 2003, and before last night, the fake Gibb brothers' last appearance was in 2013.

The duo opened the skit by singing an intro as the talk show guests were introduced, played by Dakota, Kenan Thompson and also Bowen Yang.

As Jimmy played guitar, the two stars sang lyrics like: “Talking on the Barry Gibb Talk Show, talking about issues, talking about really important issues…”

After the musical intro, the two sat down in '70s-inspired suits and Fallon's Barry Gibb said, “Good evening, ladies and gentlemen.” We've got a great show for you tonight. “This is my show, and it’s a no-nonsense show.”

He pointed out that it was an election year, and when he asked if his brother Robin had any comment about it, Justin, as Robin, replied, “No. 'No, I don't.'

Jimmy Thompson then asked a question about the topic and Kenan replied, “Well, that's an interesting question.”

'Oh is it? It is interesting? Do you find it interesting?' Fallon asked, his voice getting louder. Kenan simply responded with, “Yes, I do.”

“Well, I find you interesting, okay? You look like Don King ate another Don King!' Jimmy shouted, clearly upset.

He further told Thompson's character, “Every month I'll replace your shoes with an identical pair of a larger size, so you'll think your feet are shrinking. 'I fear nothing!'

'I saw Saltburn with my whole family!' And I had seen the bathtub scene before and I really enjoyed it!' he said loudly. Jimmy then asked if his brother had any comment, and again replied, “No.” No, I don't.'

Fallon then directed a question to Bowen Yang, who began calling him by his name, Barry Gibb.

He gave another quick rant and then directed a question at Dakota's character – but she interrupted him to answer before he could finish, which angered him.

“How dare you interrupt me!” I'm not playing! I am Legend! You can't break me!' Fallon shouted. Shortly afterwards he asked his brother if he wanted to say anything about it, but he again didn't answer.

However, Bowen intervened and said he had something else to add, which caused Jimmy to start screaming again, which soon led to Fallon and Timberlake starting to sing.

The skit ended with a final tune and the other guests danced along in the background.
