His comments came in the wake of a bombing at a hospital in Gaza that killed 200 people today.

Justin Trudeau condemned the strike, calling it “horrible” and “unacceptable.”

“The news coming out of Gaza today is devastating, it is terrible, it is unacceptable. Canada expects international humanitarian law to be always respected,” he said in response to a question from a journalist.

When asked if it was “legal” to attack a hospital, the Prime Minister replied: No, it is not legal.

The Ministry of Health in Hamas-controlled Palestinian territory reported 200 to 300 deaths in an Israeli bombing of the Ahli Arab hospital compound in the Gaza Strip.
