Kanye West has apparently announced that his new collaborative album with Ty Dolla $ign will be released on Friday, December 15, marking his return to music after a series of widespread controversies.

At a weekend club gig with fellow rapper Ty Dolla $ign, West, who officially changed his name to Ye last year, was heard announcing the album: “It's called Vultures and it's coming out this Friday.”

Ty Dolla $ign also announced that a listening party will be held in Miami on Tuesday, December 12th.

West, 46, had previously performed the title song for the first time during a surprise performance at Blu nightclub in Dubai, where it was revealed that West rapped in the song: “How am I anti-Semitic? I just fucked a Jewish bitch.”

Adidas ended its year-long partnership with West after he made a series of “unacceptable, hateful and dangerous” comments about Jewish people.

Shortly thereafter, he caused further uproar when he stated that he “liked Hitler” in an interview with right-wing conspiracy theorist Alex Jones on his channel Infowars. Holocaust denier Nick Fuentes was also interviewed on the show.

West's last major release was his 2021 album Donda, itself a controversial project that included a performance by Marilyn Manson just weeks after the rock musician was accused of sexual and physical abuse by multiple women.

Manson denied all allegations made against him and emphasized that his “intimate relationships with like-minded partners have always been completely consensual.”

West is currently reported to be married to former employee Bianca Censori. He shares his four children – North, 10; saint, seven; Chicago, five, and Psalm, four – with ex-wife Kim Kardashian, whom he divorced last year.

Last week, Ty Dolla $ign shared a tracklist for the new album on Instagram with song titles such as “Lifestyle,” “Worship,” Beg Forgiveness,” and “Drunk.”

It will also feature the track “Back to Me” after a low-quality video surfaced on social media in October of West and TY Dolla $ign listening to the clip.

Rumored guest artists include Future and Playboi Carti, while reports suggest the duo could try out the Backstreet Boys and singer Leon Bridges.

West has a track record of announcing albums and then failing to release them on time. He announced two albums for 2020 that have not yet been released: God's Country and Donda: With Child.

“Donda” was also delayed by a month, while “Jesus is King,” originally titled “Yandhi,” was supposed to hit theaters in August 2018, but was finally released as “Jesus is King” in October the following year, after another four Publication dates had been missed.

The release of “Vultures” has already been postponed due to a “multi-stage listening event” announced for November 3, 2023.
