Officially the concert of American rapper and producer Kanye West next Friday, October 13th, has been canceled. As the day progressed, new rumors circulated: The new date was the hypothesis October 20th. And then the question: Why do we continue to work on building such a large structure?
Kanye West is a very artist controversial. He continues to make headlines for his anti-Semitic comments, because he praises Hitler and his attitude towards women. He has sold 20 million albums so far. His name made the rounds on Friday evening. The rapper has been in Italy in recent days, he was spotted in the stands of the Genoa Stadium for Genoa – Milan on Saturday and even made an inspection in Reggio Emilia. His staff asked the city government and those who manage the arena for their willingness to quickly put on a concert, a show that could have drawn up to 80,000 people from around the world. A big problem from an organizational and security perspective.
Then the production decision: the conditions are not met, the times are too tight, the concert cannot take place. At least it’s not possible on Friday. And in the meantime, work continued in the RCF arena. We’ll see if the chapter is really finished.
