Kanye West’s disregard for Pete Davidson was highlighted in his new music video, with the rapper literally kidnapping and burying an animated version of the Saturday Night Live star.
The video for “Eazy” brings to life the viral hit presented by the game, which attracted mass attention in January due to the rapping of the 44-year-old West for “beating Pete Davidson’s ass”.
On Wednesday, while posting a video with mostly clay on his Instagram page, West was seen raping while sitting on top of a wooden coffin in a black-and-white video. Later, a clay version of the rapper is seen putting a bag on the head of a Davidson-like character and kidnapping him.
He then ties up Davidson’s character and drives a four-wheeled car to an abandoned area, burying the comic around his neck before planting pink seeds around his head.
Eventually, the flowers bloom, and Davidson, still alive, watches Ye pick up a few and load them into a pickup truck.
The image is a clear reference to West giving a gift truck to Valentine’s estranged wife – and Davidson’s girlfriend – Kim Kardashian.
“EVERYONE LIVED HAPPYLY ACHIEVED, UNTIL THE SKYTON YOU KNOW WHO. JK, he’s fine. ” read the last frame, with the word “SKETE” scratched.
Only time will tell if Davidson really took offense at the video or will laugh at it, as he did when he first heard the dis.
“Pete thinks it’s completely funny,” an insider told Page Six in January. Not only that, he thinks in general [tabloid drama with him, West and Kardashian] it’s fun. He loves it. ”
The video made its debut shortly after a Los Angeles Supreme Court judge formally declared Kardashian legally unbound.
