These weren’t the best of days for rapper Kanye West. His anti-Semitic remarks caused him to lose his billionaire status and be replaced by Sean “Diddy” Combs.
But his followers insist on returning him the quality of the millionaire and many went to GoFundMe, the funding platform, for resources.
Among other things, West lost the sponsorship he had from Adidas, That was $1.5 billion, bringing his net worth to $400 million.

However, GoFundMe apparently removed those accounts, which initially brought in a $5 profit.
It’s not the first time West’s supporters have come to his aid. According to Rolling Stone, “In 2016, West posted on Twitter that he was $53 million in debt and asked Facebook’s Mark Zuckerberg to invest in his ideas. Then Jeremy Piatt, one of his followers, started GoFundMe for the artist.”

The initiative called ‘Getting Kanye Out of Debt’it grossed $57,398. “It doesn’t look like he’s going to get the help he desperately needs from Mark Zuckerberg,” Piatt wrote. “Sure he is personally wealthy and able to buy furs and houses for his family, but without our help, Kanye West’s true genius cannot be realized,” the Post adds.
Pitt then wrote that “Kanye West’s office has declined the funds raised” that would go to Notes for Notes, which helps young people get instruments and music lessons.
