Kanye West is going through a turbulent period… After Adidas canceled his contract with the rapper over antiSemitism allegations, he turned up without warning this Wednesday (26) at the headquarters of Skechers, a famous sneaker company. According to TMZ, this was an attempt by the artist to speak to the brand’s owners to propose a collaboration.
In a note sent to the American website, the company announced that Kanye had to be escorted out by two executives. “Skechers USA, Inc., The Comfort Technology Company™, announced that Kanye West also known as Ye made an unannounced and uninvited arrival at a Skechers corporate headquarters in Los Angeles. Recognizing that Ye was involved in unauthorized filming, two Skechers executives escorted him and his group out of the building after a brief chat,” the statement said.
The company added that it does not intend to partner with the star. “Skechers is considering and has no intention of working with West. We condemn your recent divisive statements and do not condone antiSemitism or any other form of hate speech. The company would like to reiterate that West showed up unannounced and uninvited at Skechers corporate offices.”

Ye has caused outrage in recent weeks for speaking out against the Jewish community on social media. The comment resulted in his account being suspended from Twitter. TMZ revealed that Skechers is a company founded by a Jewish family, with Robert Greenberg as the founder and his son Michael as the current president.

Vogue and the almighty Anna Wintour have already announced that they will no longer be collaborating with him. Talent agency CAA has ended representing the star.
