Kanye West is reportedly under investigation after he allegedly snatched the phone from a woman and threw it away when she refused to stop filming him.
According to a viral videothe rapper-turned-fashion-designer was walking out of his daughter North’s basketball game when he realized he was being stalked by dads.
Although it was unclear if the woman was a pap or simply a fan, he allegedly got out of his car and confronted her while she was filming him from her own vehicle.
“You didn’t have to snap at me like that,” he said to the woman who was holding her phone to his face.
“If I say stop, stop with your cameras!”
When the woman tried to argue that she could film him because he was “a celebrity,” Ye allegedly reached into her car, grabbed her cell phone and threw it away.
As he walked away, he allegedly confronted another pap. However, it’s unclear what he told him to make him back off.
It is not known how long the woman allegedly filmed West, 45, and what happened before he got out of his car, prompting him to confront her.
According to police sources with TMZ, deputies from the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department were called to the scene around 4:30 p.m. and were given video evidence of the incident.
According to the outlet’s report, the woman was photographed exiting the sheriff’s department and speaking to officers.
West has since been named as a suspect in a battery investigation, TMZ claimed.

However, that wasn’t the only time West asked to be left alone today. In another part of the clip, after getting back into his car, he pulled up in front of a group of paps who caught the entire incident on camera.
“You want me to bump into your children’s games like this?” Ye told the papa, who tried to defend himself by saying that “we are a hundred”.
“Everyone has to stop when I see my kids. If I need to see my kids, you can’t take my picture,” West continued. “It’s called human rights.”

When the pope tried again to say they could take his picture because they were on a public road, Ye simply stared at him before driving off with his new “bride” Bianca Censori, 27, in the passenger seat.
Ye’s confrontation with the paps comes just a day after he was spotted shopping at Balenciaga with Censori – even after they cut ties with him for posting anti-Semitic comments on social media.
He was seen going through the store’s shoe selection with the Australian Yeezy employee, whom he reportedly married in an illegal ceremony earlier this month.

Despite this seemingly happy new chapter in Ye’s life, sources tell Page Six that the Kardashians are worried about the rushed nuptials.
“The family isn’t taking this as a marriage just yet,” the insider said. “You don’t know what it is. Not sure if it’s a PR stunt. They wait to see if he submits papers. They’re nervous because if it were real, she’d be in the kids’ lives.”
Kim Kardashian and West, who have four children together, finalized their divorce in 2022 after seven years of marriage.
