Apple Music quickly pulled Kanye West's first album Vultures, just five days after its debut on the platform.
On Thursday afternoon, the album — which his daughter North posted about in a now-deleted TikTok — was removed from Apple Music and iTunes, where the song Carnival had occupied the top spot on the Top 100: Global charts.
The move comes amid reports that Vultures 1 distributor is working to remove the film from all streaming services after Kanye reportedly uploaded it to various platforms without permission, Billboard reports.
“On Friday, February 9, 2024, a long-time FUGA customer delivered the Vultures 1 album through the platform’s automated processes in violation of our service agreement,” distributor FUGA said in a statement, according to the outlet.
“That’s why FUGA is actively working with its DSP partners and the customer to remove Vultures 1 from our systems.”
As of now, the album is still available on Spotify; However, the title Good (Don't Die) is currently not playable on the platform.

This comes after music festival Rolling Loud announced Kanye and fellow Vultures 1 member Ty Dolla Sign as headliners for their March 14 concert in Inglewood, California.
It also follows Donna Summer's estate accusing Kanye of using a sample of her song without consent for Good (Don't Die).
The rapper reportedly incorporated a version of the late singer's 1977 hit “I Feel Love” into the track.
The late singer's official Instagram page said Kanye's previous request to use the song had been rejected.
“Kanye West… has requested permission to use Donna Summer's song 'I Feel Love,'” the account's post on Instagram Stories reads. “He was rejected…he changed the lyrics and had someone new sing it.” [sic] it or AI used, but it's I Feel Love…copyright infringement!!!'
The post also tagged Sharon Osbourne as she joined her husband Ozzy Osbourne in calling out Kanye for using an unauthorized sample of a Black Sabbath song on Friday.
