Kanye West’s Instagram account has reportedly been suspended due to a post in which he attacks The Daily Show host Trevor Noah with racist slurs.
The rapper’s account was suspended for 24 hours by the social network after he insulted Noah, the partner of Kim Kardashian’s boyfriend Pete Davidson.
According to TMZ, Instagram’s parent company, Meta, views West’s posts as a violation of Instagram’s policies on hate speech, harassment, and bullying.
In his post attacking Noah, West (now known only as Yeh) repeatedly called him a “f**k” after the comic said the situation between West, his ex-wife, and Davidson was “terrible to watch.”
The phrase is described in the Urban Dictionary as a black person who is anti-black.
The Independent has reached out to Meta for comment.
After the attack, Noah wrote a lengthy comment on West’s post detailing the situation.
“Few artists have had a bigger impact on me than you, E. You took samples and turned them into symphonies,” wrote Noah.
“You took your pain and wired it into performance perfection. I thought differently about how I spend my money because of you, I learned to protect my childish creativity from adult thoughts because of you, damn it, I still smile every time I fasten my seat belt because of you”.
He added, “You are an indelible part of my life, Ye. That’s why my heart breaks when I see you like this. I don’t care if you support Trump, and I don’t care if you fry Pete. However, I care when I see you on a path dangerously close to danger and pain.
“Oh, and as for K**n… obviously some people graduate, but we’re still stupid,” Noah continued, writing black whenever we disagree. Deceiving us so that we would be divided into fragments, so that we would never unite into a mighty rod.
Kardashian filed for divorce from West in February 2021, citing irreconcilable differences, and was officially declared single on March 2.

West has publicly called on the Kardashians several times to reunite their family; the couple have four children – North, Saint, Chicago and Psalm.
He also repeatedly used Instagram to attack Davidson, who began dating Kardashian last October.
After one of his social media rants against the Saturday Night Live comedian, Kardashian told West that he was creating a “dangerous and frightening environment” for Davidson.
“Someone will hurt Pete and it will be entirely your fault,” Kardashian wrote, as seen in screenshots posted by West at the time.
