Kara will play Rachel, a young single mother who finds herself in a controlling situation with her new boss, portrayed by Downton Abbey’s Allen Leech.
The former EastEnders actress and Marius’ relationship breakdown was reported last October, but sources said the pair had secretly split up ten months earlier.
