Karina Bacchi confirmed through her press office this Thursday that her fouryear marriage to former player and current businessman Amaury Nunes has come to an end.
“Yes (they) are separated but we have nothing to report at the moment,” the actress and host’s rep told EXTRA.
The news was originally published by journalist Leo Dias, who reported that the actress’ “religious fanaticism” would be the reason for the end of the marriage. Amaury has already unfollowed his now exwife on Instagram. He helped raise 4yearold Enrico, the son Karina had through in vitro fertilization.
Karina told Uol columnist Lucas Pasin that she prefers not to comment so as not to “slander” her exhusband.
“Yes (I confirm the split). I have no statements. I will not condone the lies that are exposed. I prefer not to defame the other person, even though I might have reasons to do so,” she said.

Karina revealed reasons for divorce live with Pastor
In a live performance in March with Pastor Josué Gonçalves, Karina revealed the reasons for the divorce as the nun spoke about the marriage.
