After a successful concert on March 1, Colombian singer Karol G prepared to wow Guatemalans for a second consecutive night in the country.
The Colombian's influence was evident around Cayalá, as fans gathered wearing Karol G-style clothing, in which the color pink marked their presence.
But the devotion to “La bichota” transcended all boundaries as many of her fans traveled from different parts of the country and even abroad to watch the singer sing her songs.
This is the case of Ana Rosales, a Guatemalan living in Los Angeles, California, USA, who traveled to Guatemala to be close to her favorite artist. “We arrived around 1 o'clock in the afternoon, which we never do in Los Angeles, but we stopped by yesterday, March 1, to see the atmosphere and it was very happy,” he said.
Wendy Juárez is another Guatemalan who lives in Florida and traveled to Guatemala hoping to sing with Colombian singer Gucci los Paños.
“It's my third attempt to see her… I planned to arrive around 3am and was ready to stay the night to see Karolina,” the fan commented.
With smiles on their faces, other followers also expressed their feelings about being just a few minutes away from their favorite artist. “We are really looking forward to singing with her – Karol G – 200 Drinks with my friend who identifies us very much,” commented friends Susan Cabrera and Rouss Villavicencio, from Zone 21 of the capital.
The atmosphere on the outskirts of Cardales Cayalá once again seemed to be full of admirers waiting to see the Colombian.
This second concert is expected to feature Karol G hits such as Oki Doki, Besties, Gatubela, Una noche en Medellín and others.
In the first concert, “La bichota” took the stage at 8:55 p.m. Although there was an incident in the middle of the concert due to a power outage, the Colombian received a standing ovation from her audience. During the show, the Colombian artist wore several outfits, including one in which she featured the colors of the Guatemalan flag.
