Kate Hudson has revealed that she has yet to start planning her wedding to fiancé Danny Fujikawa, more than a year after they got engaged.

The 43-year-old actress admitted she’s “back and forth” on whether or not she wants to plan a lavish celebration, before joking that it’s “not really a golden ticket” due to her large family.

On Wednesday’s episode of This Morning, Kate also opened up about her role in the upcoming Knives Out sequel Glass Onion and recalled the moment she had to don a bikini for a certain scene in the Netflix film.

During the interview, Kate was asked if she had started planning her wedding to Danny.

But the star admitted: “It’s been a while, I just didn’t plan the wedding. I don’t even know where I am right now – just kidding.

“I go back and forth, I’m like, ‘Do I really want a big wedding?’ We’re so happy — it’s not the first thing I need.

‘I’ve been there before. I have children with three different fathers. It’s not really the golden ticket, a wedding. And we don’t know where we’re going to do it either. But it will happen.’

Kate then began dating Danny in 2016 and they share daughter Rani, four, before getting engaged in September 2021.

The star confessed that when a sequel to the 2019 crime thriller was confirmed, she immediately contacted director Rian Johnson to land a role in the film.

She told hosts Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby: “When we found out they were doing a second [Knives Out]I was about to smash Ryan Johnson’s door, I was like, “I want in”

“I don’t care where you’re from or what your relationship with the business is — if you work hard and kill it, it doesn’t matter,” the Oscar-nominated actress told the outlet
