The Princess of Wales’ curse strikes again. William would have secretly met his ex, Jecca Craig, and had no problem abandoning his wife. Ever since Kate Middleton inherited the Diana title, her marriage seems to have taken a hit. Just as it happened between Charles and Lady D almost forty years ago. You could say it’s just a matter of random coincidences, but the path the current Princes of Wales are taking seems rather unclear.
Kate Middleton, the secret meeting between William and Jecca Craig
Her name is now following rumors about Rose Hanbury, Marquise of Cholmondeley, with whom William is said to have had a love affair, even going on to have a daughter Jecca Craig.
We had forgotten her by now, but she was the prince’s first love. He never mentioned it again as his wife Kate had seemingly replaced her with no regrets, unlike Chelsy Davy, Harry’s long-forgotten girlfriend. But obviously it’s not a dead and buried story for William either. In fact, some anonymous sources claim that there was a secret meeting between him and his ex, who has now become a famous and important woman.
Of course, these rumors have not been confirmed, nor is there any evidence of this clandestine rendezvous, which Lady Middleton evidently did not know about. So it may be the case Rumors spread by the usual rumors to drive a wedge between Will and Kate, who loves to make headlines. But one thing seems to be true: William has never forgotten his true love, who also looks a lot like the current Princess of Wales, long dark hair, reasonable height, slim build.
Who is Jecca Craig, William’s love?
Of this youthful relationship between the Prince of Wales and Jecca Craig Very little is known, so much so that there are not even photos showing them together or if they exist they are kept top secret. Therefore, what we know has been reconstructed over the years between leaks and backstories from native collaborators.
We’re in our late 90’s and William has just graduated from Eton where his son George will probably be studying. He decides to fill a gap before entering the University of St Andrews e goes to Kenya where in Lewa he meets Ian Craig, who has converted his massive 62,000-acre ranch into a rhino sanctuary. While at the estate, he meets Ian’s daughter, Jecca, who is his own age. Will falls madly in love with her and begins visiting the park repeatedly, sometimes even with his brother Harry.
Meanwhile, some leaks from his relationship with Jecca Craig, née Jessica Craig, are leaking out in the UK. It seems the two also hosted some sort of engagement ceremony in Africa. Then William is called back to his home country, it’s time to start university, while Buckingham Palace calmly denies any rumors of his romantic involvement in Kenya. The Queen locks him up and makes an agreement with the journalists to respect his privacy.
The distance and the new university life weaken the passion for Jecca. Then meeting Kate Middleton seems to put an end to African history for good. Although William not only invites his fiancee Kate to his 21st birthday party at Windsor Castle, but also his first love Jecca, who of course accepts the invitation. Lady Middleton must have been very offended by the way the evening had gone. In fact, William appears to have spent far more time with Craig than she did, although she maintained a dignified demeanor without making a scene of jealousy. And what should be was.
Though there was always a place for Jecca in William’s heart, in 2008 he gave up the marriage of his cousin, Peter Phillips, Princess Anne’s son, and went to Kenya to live with Batian Craig, Jecca’s older brother.
Today, Craig is a well-known environmentalist, being one of the co-founders of Panthera, the world’s largest wild cat conservation organization, and Stop Ivory, the NGO dedicated to elephant conservation. In 2016 she married Jonathan Baillie of the Zoological Society of London. At his wedding, which was celebrated in Kenya, William was also present. And the story continues…
