The Princess of Wales will take part in Trooping the Color in three months' time, returning to royal duties after Easter following abdominal surgery.
The Ministry of Defense has confirmed that Kate Middleton will be present at the parade on Saturday, June 8, from 10.30am at the Horse Guards Parade in Westminster.
Although this is Kate's first official announcement since her surgery, Kensington Palace has not yet confirmed her attendance at the dress rehearsal.
More than 1,400 soldiers from the Household Division and King's Troop Royal Horse Artillery will take part, including 400 musicians from the Massed Bands.
They will parade on Horse Guards for the second of two formal reviews, while 250 Foot Guards soldiers will also line the route along the Mall.
When Kate takes part in Trooping the Color, it will be much the same as when the King reviews the parade – except there will be fewer mounted officers.

The general public can watch the Horse Guards Parade from the stands by applying for tickets via the Ministry of Defense website, priced at £15. The parade ends at 12:25 p.m.
There will also be limited visibility from public viewing points on the Mall or on the edge of St James's Park overlooking Horse Guards Parade from 9am.
Kate is not expected to return to official duties until after Easter, and William temporarily stepped back from his royal role to care for her and their children.
The princess was admitted to the London clinic for planned surgery on January 16th and left the hospital on January 29th – almost two weeks later.
Kate was last seen with her family at a royal event at Sandringham on Christmas Day 2023
The 42-year-old then returned to Adelaide Cottage in Windsor to see her three children again. Details about the princess' condition were not disclosed.
However, Kensington Palace previously said it had nothing to do with cancer and that Kate wanted her personal medical information to remain private.
A week after the princess left the hospital, Buckingham Palace announced that King Charles III. He had been diagnosed with cancer and was undergoing treatment.
Kate's parents, Carole and Michael Middleton, and her siblings, Pippa Matthews and James Middleton, are believed to be actively helping the Waleses at the moment.
