Kate Middleton is reportedly very upset by the allegations leveled against her in Prince Harry’s explosive new memoir, Spare.
The Princess of Wales is “outraged and hurt,” Tom Bower, author of Revenge: Meghan, Harry and the War Between the Windsors, tells Page Six of the stories, which include a now infamous bridesmaid dress feud.
In the tome, out January 10, the Duke of Sussex describes the chilly relationship between his wife Meghan Markle and his sister-in-law.

Harry claims that Middleton once wanted all of the bridesmaids’ dresses to be remade four days before the wedding because Charlotte’s didn’t fit properly.
Eventually, she agreed to visit Markle’s tailor to have it changed, but Harry writes that he later found his then-fiancée “on the floor” in tears after the altercation. The next day, he continued, brought flowers and a card to Middleton and apologized.

He also claims the Suits graduate was scolded for telling Middleton – who had just given birth to Prince Louis – that she “must have baby brains because of her hormones,” amid an argument.
Criticism of his sister-in-law does not stop with serious issues, but also with seemingly banal things like the etiquette of renting makeup.

The Duke claims Middleton wasn’t happy when Markle asked to borrow her lip gloss ahead of the foursome’s appearance at the Royal Foundation Forum in 2018.
“Kate went into her purse in surprise and reluctantly pulled out a small tube,” Harry wrote. “Meg pressed something on her finger and applied it to her lips. Kate made a face.”

Calling the attacks “grotesquely good” and “disgraceful,” Bower notes that the book was ready when Prince Harry attended the Queen’s funeral last September.
“The deception of Harry at the Queen’s funeral because he knew what he had written about Kate and William and his father without giving any indication of what was to come is just incredible,” he said.
“Spare” is scheduled to hit bookstores on January 10th.
Bower also noted that Markle may also have a reveal tape in the works, so “they’re going to be making money that way for a while.”
The palace told Page Six last week that it would not comment on any of the allegations in the book.
