Kate Moss and her half sister Lottie are no longer close

Kate Moss and her half-sister Lottie are “no longer close,” a family source claims … just weeks after the OnlyFans star emotionally shared that she was “constantly compared to older siblings.”

Kate Moss and her half-sister Lottie are no longer close, a family source has told Web.

The once close sibling relationship has cooled significantly, the family member admitted, saying: “There was a time when they were much closer.”

However, they insisted that they did not want to talk about the sisters’ feelings for each other in public, but should address any issues within the family privately.

It came after Lottie – who followed her older sister into a modeling career – became emotional while speaking on Celebs Go Dating about her relationship with the fashion legend.

When she meets the series’ new sex guru, Dr. Speaking about her half-sister, 49, Tara Suwinyattichaiporn revealed they were “constantly compared”, which led to feelings of abandonment and a reluctance to show “the real Lottie”.

These comments come just weeks after Lottie similarly revealed: “My sister and I have never been close.” There is a big age difference. She doesn’t have to want to have a relationship with me. When I was younger I couldn’t understand it.’

Kate’s parents are former barmaid Linda Rosina Moss and former airline employee Peter Moss, who lived with their daughter in Croydon, south London. They divorced when she was 13, but her father remained close to her throughout her life.

Her half-sister Lottie, 25, comes from Peter’s second marriage to Swedish model Inger.

The source close to Peter and Inger said the couple were not happy about these very public statements: “It is not clear why Lottie has chosen to speak about her relationship with Kate and to be honest, “Is there one?” a bit confusing for her.

“Peter and Inger have never spoken about Kate, and she never talks about her family life. You don’t understand why Lottie is going public with all this stuff.’

They are both adults now, life goes on and they move on with their lives

“As far as they are concerned, there is no rift between Kate and Lottie. They don’t understand why such a big deal is being made out of it and feel like it’s overblown.

“There is a big age difference between Kate and Lottie, they come from different generations and are very different people.”

The source added: “There’s nothing more to it.” There’s always a bit of fighting between siblings, but it’s not that bad. Peter and Inger have no plans to intervene or bring the two girls together because there is nothing important to clarify. “They are normal family matters that don’t need to be discussed.”

The source revealed that Kate attended Lottie’s 21st birthday party in January 2019, which was also attended by the rest of the family, and that the two women also got together for Christmas and other celebrations.

Lottie got her first break as a model in 2011 when she was a bridesmaid at Kate’s wedding to musician Jamie Hince.

After pictures of the wedding were published in Vogue, she photographed campaigns for Calvin Klein, Tommy Hilfiger and D&G.

However, after experiencing a dark side of modeling where her life was “controlled”, Lottie decided to quit in 2021 and try OnlyFans, where she revealed that everyone was “positive and kind” and she expressed herself through her sexual side feel strengthened.

Faced with the burden of being the sister of an icon, she admitted that “nothing would ever be as good as what she did” – which made her feel redundant.

She said: “Every house I go into has some sort of Kate Moss poster, a Kate Moss book, a Kate Moss Diet Coke can and everyone talks about it. “I had for a very long time feeling like nothing I did would ever be as good as what she did.

“I can’t top this, so where does this leave me?”

She previously explained that after speaking to others around her, she came to the realization that “family is complicated” and that her situation doesn’t change simply because of Kate’s status.

She said, “We just don’t agree on a lot of things.” I love her. She’s my sister, but we’re just not close. It is what it is.’

Kate has always maintained an air of mystery and refused to speak publicly about her personal life and has therefore never spoken about her relationship with Lottie.

It comes after Lottie confirmed she was dating co-star Adam and in a conversation about dating rumors she had slept with married father-of-three Spencer Matthews.

The Love Island model and the 27-year-old met after signing up for the latest series of Celebs Go Dating in July and she has now revealed they have a “special connection”.

During an appearance on Chloe Burrows’ Chloe Vs The World podcast, Lottie opened up about their relationship and admitted that Adam was “very charming.”

The reality star also denied claims she “hooked up” with former Made in Chelsea star Spencer, 34, at Jamie Laing’s wedding in Spain in May after gossip videos circulated widely online.

Lottie told her Celebs Go Dating co-star Chloe: “When I first saw Adam I thought, ‘No, he’s not my type. Literally not my type at all and then bam.”
