Katharine McPhee and her husband David Foster celebrated the holidays Monday evening at the annual tree lighting ceremony at The Grove.
The couple, who have endured a difficult year after losing their son’s nanny, performed Christmas carols for fans at the iconic Los Angeles mall.
Katharine, 39, looked lovely in a festive black scoop neck mini dress with feather fringe at the hem. Her legs popped with the help of sheer heels.
Her shiny hair was tied back with the help of a black bow, with a few loose curls falling over her enhanced complexion.
David, 74, cut a dapper figure in a mocha blazer, button-down vest, blue jeans and a smart polo shirt. His feet were in shiny black sneakers.
Oh Christmas Tree! Katharine McPhee and her husband David Foster celebrated the holidays at The Grove’s annual tree lighting ceremony in Los Angeles on Monday evening
The duo had the audience in the palm of their hands as they took the stage, which was decorated with lighted trees and poinsettias.
David sat behind the piano while his lover performed Christmas carols with the help of a live band. The pair recently released another album celebrating the seasons, “Christmas Songs.”
The celebrations come after a difficult year for the couple as they mourn the loss of their son’s nanny.
In August, Yadira Calito, 55, a nanny for the couple’s 2-year-old son, Rennie, was hit by a car and then dragged 20 feet outside a Toyota dealership.
She was hit by an 84-year-old woman who crashed her SUV into the customer reception area. She had apparently stepped on the gas instead of the brake.
When McPhee learned the news of the tragedy, she canceled the final two shows of her concert tour with her husband in Jakarta, Indonesia.
According to reports, the elderly driver was picking up her car for service when she hit the gas instead of the brake, causing the vehicle to collide with Calito.
Calito was hospitalized in critical condition and later pronounced dead. The driver of the SUV was not arrested.

The singer, who had just performed in Asia with her 16-time Grammy Award-winning partner David, said her family had experienced a “terrible tragedy” in a statement posted to her Instagram at the time.
It added: “Dear Jakarta fans, it is with a heavy heart that I announce that I will have to miss our final two shows of our Asian run.”
“David and I have experienced a terrible tragedy in our family and at least one of us needs to go home to our family.”
“Please know how sorry I am and how much I wish to come back one day and perform for you all. ‘I love Katharine.’
The couple addressed the tragedy in an interview with Entertainment Tonight, in which Foster admitted how difficult it was for his wife.
“It’s been hard for her,” he told ET in September. “Yes, it was hard. “She can do it,” he said.
“As you,” said his wife.
