Foster’s ex-wife, Linda Thompson, wrote: “Sending love to you and David and I hope all is well.”

For now, it looks like Foster will still be performing the final two shows of the tour in Jakarta, Indonesia on Friday and Saturday.

He is joined by Michael Bolton, Loren Allred, Peabo Bryson and Raisa.

McPhee, Foster’s fifth wife, celebrated her fourth wedding anniversary with him just a few weeks ago, on June 28.

Foster is also the father of five adult daughters: Sara, 42, Erin, 40, and Jordan, 36, whom he shared with his second wife, Rebecca Dyer.

He also has daughters Allison, 53, and Amy, 49, from previous relationships.

This comes after the couple’s two-year-old son, Rennie, showed off his drumming skills on Instagram earlier this year.

Foster shared the short clip showing the tot sitting behind his drum kit and keeping the beat.

‘PROGRESS!!’ he gushed in the caption, before telling his followers that Rennie was only “2 years and 3 months.”

The composer, arranger, producer and music manager has been documenting his young son’s progress on drums since last December.

In the clip, Rennie starts off with a cool smack on one of his tom drums before switching to the snare and ride icon to play a part at a time.

At this point the adorable boy showed that he could hold a solid beat with the combination of the snare, kick and high-hat.

On December 23, 2022, Foster first uploaded a video to Instagram of Rennie playing drums on an electronic percussion device, titled “Little Drummer Boy.”

And in January, a video followed, in which Rennie played a real drum kit for the first time, in which he shared how he had “made progress at 22 months!!”.

Three weeks later, Rennie could be seen standing while focusing on the high hat symbol with an almost disco pattern.

“Finding his groove. 23 months,” Foster wrote at the time of the post.

Such was Rennie’s passion for percussion that he actually grabbed a pair of chopsticks and started banging.

This latest entry comes a little over three months later and his improvement on the drums is more than evident.
