Kathy Griffin shared that she was diagnosed with “complex PTSD” after an MRI.
The comedian revealed her findings on TikTok, asking followers for recommendations and tips on how to deal with anxiety and depression.
“Let’s talk about PTSD. I’ve never spoken about it publicly,” she began her video posted last Tuesday.
“You can laugh or whatever, but I’ve been diagnosed with complex PTSD and that’s called an extreme case.”
Griffin, 62, explained with a “wink” that her problems began about five and a half years ago, around the same time she posed for a photo holding a replica of former President Donald Trump’s severed head.
