There was a mini-Dawson's Creek reunion at Wednesday night's star-studded Chanel dinner in New York.
Katie Holmes, 45, and Michelle Williams, 43, met at the swanky event, 20 years after they starred together in the iconic teen angst drama.
The actresses looked incredible in their classic Chanel outfits and were worlds apart from their Capeside costars Joey Potter and Jen Lindley.
Based on a fictional group of friends in a tight-knit community, the series followed the group from high school to college in the sleepy town of Capeside.
Katie Holmes character Joey Potter grew up with his best friend Dawson Leery, portrayed by James Van Der Beek.

Rounding out the quartet was Joshua Jackson's character Pacey Witter, Dawson's best friend.
The show ran for six seasons from 1998 to 2003 and chronicled the four's intertwined lives throughout high school and college. The final episode fast-forwarded five years to catch up with the group in their new lives in 2008.
Speaking last year, Katie revealed that a possible revival of the series had been discussed “many” times in recent years.
In a conversation with Variety, the actress seemed intrigued by the idea of bringing back “Dawson's Creek,” but also worried that the culture may have changed too much since it first aired in the '00s, somewhat diminishing the sweetness of the original could weaken.
“There have been a lot of discussions over the years. “We all enjoyed the experience,” she said when questioned.
“With discussion comes protection.” “The show was a time capsule,” she continued. “Translating it into today’s world might tarnish it a little.”
“It was right before everyone had a phone and social media and all that, so there was an innocence between the characters, which I think was one of the things people liked about the show.” I'm not sure I to place it in today’s world,” she mused.

“We talked about it many times,” the actress added. “Right now we just keep saying, unless there's a real reason for it, people haven't said, 'That's the attitude.'”
Meanwhile, Michelle recently gushed about the foundation the show gave her for her acclaimed career, which has seen her receive five Oscar nominations.
“It taught me how to be responsible, it taught me how to get to work on time, it taught me how to prepare myself in the evening for the next day, it taught me the basics, so to speak, of how to take care of myself can pay attention.” Michelle recalled her teenage years on the show in an interview in 2023.
Of filming in South Carolina, she added, “We were like in a very sleepy southern town and the crew really felt like they were looking out for us.”
“They knew how young we were and they kind of surrounded us like a bumper, just making sure we were safe and taken care of, that I was going to the dentist, things that didn't really come naturally to me.”
“I really appreciate the way people give us an honest childhood.”
