Katie Holmes and the cast of Dawson’s Creek share photos celebrating the show’s 25th anniversary

Katie Holmes shared several healthy throwback photos with the cast of Dawson’s Creek on Instagram on Friday.

It has been 25 years since the hit drama series Dawson’s Creek premiered, which ran for six seasons between 1998 and 2003.

In honor of the big milestone, the show’s stars began a behind-the-scenes peek, including the 44-year-old actress.

The now 44-year-old played Joey Potter on the show, who became the focus of the show’s famous love triangle. At the opposite ends of the triangle were Dawson Leery, played by James Van Der Beek, and Pacey Witter, played by Joshua Jackson.

Katie shared three shots of herself with other cast members on her Instagram Stories, originally posted by Mary-Margaret Humes, who played Dawson’s mother on the show.

Besides sharing the photos, the Batman Begins actress wrote a few heartfelt words about one of the shots.

‘Happy 25th!!!!! I loved growing up with everyone and having some really good times! Thank you to all the #dawsonscreek fans.’

In the first shot, the beauty lay across the laps of several of her cast members, her arm holding her head up as she smiled for the camera.

Many members of the cast and crew gathered on the couch as they all posed for the photo.

In the following shot, the actress smiled widely while giving Mary-Margaret Humes a side hug. The two had their arms around each other as they laughed for the camera.

In the last take, Katie was in a more formal photo with some of the main cast. They were all smartly dressed and posed nicely for the photo.

He began by saying, “25 years ago today… my life changed. Not gradually, not day by day… immediately.

“It was the culmination of 5 years of auditioning, hundreds of hours on stage, thousands of hours of travelling, preparing, dreaming, hoping, hearing ‘no’ and finding reasons to keep going.

The actor went on to share how fame wasn’t everything he expected, how there were cool moments where I pinched myself, and how grateful he was to have met the people he had met.
