Katie Holmes stepped out in New York City on Thursday night to hang out at Bar Pitti.
The 43-year-old actress was caught chatting with friends outside of the celebrity-loved establishment.
Holmes cut a relaxed figure for the evening in an oversized blue button down shirt and beige maxi skirt with ruffles and lace detailing.

The Thank You For Smoking star slipped on a pair of black patent leather shoes with silver buckles to complete her look.
She carried her belongings in a patterned tote bag, which slung over her shoulder as she mingled.
Her beautiful brunette hair was free-flowing and she rocked a glowing, makeup-free complexion.

Holmes and her dinner crew eventually headed to Bar Pitti to eat and drink the restaurant’s offerings.
Her outing came after the world premiere of her second directorial effort, Alone Together.
The feature focuses on a food critic and a recently single person who form a relationship while being forced to quarantine together amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
In addition to directing the film, the actress also wrote the screenplay and acted as the lead actress. Other cast members included Jim Sturgess, Melissa Leo and Derek Luke.

Alone Together premiered during the recent Tribeca Film Festival, which took place last month.
Following the film’s debut, Holmes spoke to Variety about her passion for filmmaking.
“I try to make artistic films that are relevant to today’s world and speak to something deep within all of us,” she explained.
Alone Together producer Jordan Yale Levine also spoke to the media and praised the actress’ dedication to her craft.

“Katie is not only a talented actress, she’s a true filmmaker who deals with wardrobe and production design and even understands the financial implications and what has to make sense for a film to be successful,” he said.
He also noted that he and his production partners are keen to continue working with Holmes in the future.
“As soon as we finished Alone Together, we knew we wanted to do more things together,” he said.
Alone Together is currently scheduled for release on July 22nd.
