Katie Holmes' ex Emilio Vitolo Jr. got engaged to Sammy Piccininni after a romantic proposal on New Year's Eve.
The 34-year-old restaurateur popped the question at his New York City speakeasy Da Milio while his soon-to-be wife, 25, announced the happy news via her Instagram on New Year's Day.
The TikTok influencer, who welcomed a daughter with Emilio in June, shared a black-and-white photo of the couple beaming at the camera while showing off her sparkling diamond ring.
The next slide was a short black-and-white clip of Emilio – who split from Holmes, 45, in May 2021 – and Sammy kissing after the proposal.
“We're starting this new year in the best way possible.” “It's the honor of my life to spend eternity with you, my soulmate,” Sammy gushed in the post's caption.

Vitolo looked handsome as ever in a suit and tie, while Sammy looked stunning in a black dress.
The couple began dating in August 2022 and share six-month-old daughter Angelina Marie, whom they welcomed in June.
A few days after the proposal, Vitolo revealed that he had asked Sammy to marry him in front of close family and friends and that he was “nervous as hell” when sharing details about the engagement with People.
“I said 2023 would be my year, and honestly it was. “I got engaged, I had a beautiful child. My daughter is now six months old. I opened up [Da Milio]so I got a lot of shit that I wish I could check off.”
The chef and actor added that he and Piccininni have not started planning their wedding yet as they are enjoying the engagement.
'Lets see what happens. Personally, I don't like forcing anything. [We] I just got engaged. There's no reason to light it.'

Emilio also gushed about being a father: “Having a girl is the best thing,” he shared.
“I had my habits back then, and it only really came into its own when my daughter smiled at me for the first time and laughed at me for the first time, and then I just thought, something popped into my head.”
In July, Sammy announced that the couple was welcoming their first child into the world by sharing three adorable pictures on Instagram with the caption: “I'm in awe of how God has blessed us.” Mom and Dad are so in love into you, little girl.'
A month earlier, the couple celebrated a beautiful outdoor baby shower with their loved ones.
The couple, who officially announced their relationship in August, shared the news and highlights of the celebration on both their Instagram accounts, writing: “Half of me and half of you, we're having a baby girl.”
Sammy showed off her tiny baby bump in a figure-hugging white bodycon dress, while her partner looked relaxed in a cream jumper and dark trousers.
As the confection was cut, it was revealed that the impending arrival would be a girl, as evidenced by the pink filling between the layers.
Before meeting Sammy, Emilio dated Batman star Katie for around eight months before they went their separate ways in May 2021.
The couple started dating in September and seemed to be going full speed ahead when rumors surfaced that she thought the relationship could work out “all the way.”

But in April it was claimed the couple had “settled down” before their official split was announced less than a month later.
It was reported that “different schedules and different commitments” were partly to blame: Katie was filming a romantic feature in the hinterland and Emilio was trying to pursue his own acting career in addition to working at his family's restaurant.
Emilio is a chef at the popular Italian restaurant Emilio's Ballato in Soho, which was originally opened by his father Emilio Vitolo Sr. in the early 1990s.
The family business is run by both his parents and his two brothers, who work with him.
