Adding, “I’m like, ‘I’ve got loads of stuff – sell it, take it’ and they won’t do it, they just want the money!”

According to The Debt Support Trust, it’s possible to go to jail for bankruptcy if someone has no intention of repaying a debt, which would then be seen as fraud.

This comes after it was revealed that Katie is due to appear in court over her debts after she filed for bankruptcy in 2019.

Once valued at £45million, he previously agreed to pay £12,000 a month but didn’t live up to the agreement, debtors of the money say.

According to The Mirror, she has previously opened up about her bankruptcy, claiming it is linked to two people from her past – and insisting her Mucky Mansion in West Sussex is safe.

During a brief hearing before a specialized bankruptcy and companies court on Friday, when Ms Price failed to appear and was not represented, the court was told a public audit of her finances had previously been adjourned.

However, the trustees are asking for the questioning to be reopened after Ms Price breached a payment agreement, lawyer Darragh Connell said.

“We are now at the stage where this matter needs to be resolved expeditiously,” Mr Connell said in court.

Judge Paul Greenwood said the hearing, at which Ms Price would be questioned about her finances, would be scheduled for the first available date after July 21.

Judge Greenwood said it seems “right, even inevitable,” to list the day-long investigation “as soon as the court is able to do so.”

During an appearance on Jeremy Vine’s Channel 5 show in March this year, the former CBB star opened up about her bankruptcy and how she’s struggled with her mental health in recent years.

“You shouldn’t feel ashamed if you have bankruptcy because people go bankrupt for a variety of reasons,” she said.

“I’ve been going through a really really tough time over the last three years in terms of my mental health and this and that.”

“And if you’re going through that, you might get bills through and you’ll put everything aside because you can’t get on with anything.”

At a previous court hearing in October 2020, Ms Price apologized to the court, adding, “I just wasn’t able to deal with those issues and I wasn’t in the right mental state to understand everything that happened.”

Earlier this week, Katie hit back at internet trolls who were questioning her about her bankruptcy, insisting she still “owns her £2.5million home”.

Speaking on TikTok Live on Tuesday, she answered questions from her followers and urged internet bullies to “not hit anyone.”

“I’m broke, yes, but I still own my £2.5million house and I’m sitting here in the kitchen doing my TikTok to you,” she said.

“Never hit someone who’s bankrupt. We can all go there, but that doesn’t mean it’s all bad.”

Katie continued: ‘Yes, my company went bankrupt and you take care of it, don’t you?’ So never hit anyone, it could happen to you.’

In April, the model evaded a court hearing for the fifth time to answer questions about her £3.2million debt.
