So where am I sitting? The stone Katy Perry lets royal fans down as she wanders around Westminster Abbey looking for her seat before staying at Windsor Castle ahead of tonight’s coronation concert

US singer Katy Perry has left royal viewers in awe after she was spotted wandering around Westminster Abbey like a lost lamb.

The ‘California Gurls’ singer – who will perform at the Coronation Concert at Windsor Castle tomorrow – was spotted by fans searching far and wide for her seat.

Unable to see thanks to an impressive fascinator, she can be seen tilting her head and spinning in circles, desperate for her place.

Alongside British Vogue editor Edward Enninful, the pop star was pictured in a lilac headpiece and large beaded choker designed by Vivienne Westwood on arrival at the Abbey this morning.

It was also announced today that she will remain at Windsor Castle tonight before appearing alongside music legend Lionel Richie tomorrow along with Take That, Italian opera singer Andrea Bocelli and Welsh bass-baritone Sir Bryn Terfel.

Perry said she was “really excited” for her “wild” sleepover at the royal residence.

“I’m really excited… I might be posting a lot because I’m really going to be in a castle. It’s wild,” she told Extra TV.

When asked about her coronation invitation, she said: “It was very royal. It was like cursive writing I’ve never seen before [before]… I loved it.’

The 38-year-old Vivienne Westwood paid homage to the late designer in her lilac outfit.

She showcased her slim figure in a pencil dress paired with a matching short-sleeved cinched-waist jacket and matching opera gloves.

She accessorized with a giant dish-style mesh fascinator, while wearing a Vivienne Westwood necklace and carrying her belongings in a white tote bag by the designer.

Royal fans took to social media to react to Perry’s hilarious moment at the historic abbey, as well as the sheer size of her fascinator.

One said: “Looks like everyone sitting near Katy Perry is getting great 5G coverage.”

After the ceremony, Kerry hilariously tweeted that her fans “shouldn’t worry” as she took her place.
