Quebec’s Simon Kean will face New Zealand’s Joseph Parker on October 28 in Saudi Arabia as part of the gala with Tyson Fury and Francis Ngannou.
Arslanbek Makhmudov (17-0-0, 16 KOs), who will face Agron Smakici (19-2-0, 17 KOs), will also be there.
The company Eye of the Tiger Management, which represents Kean and Makhmudov, confirmed everything on Thursday.
In Parker (32-3-0, 22 KOs), Kean (23-1-0, 22 KOs) will cross swords with a former WBO heavyweight world champion. The New Zealander met the British Anthony Joshua in 2018.
The Quebecer is well on his way after winning his last eight fights by knockout.
Makhmudov says he is happy to take part in this event.
“Saudi Arabia is a very special country for me,” he said in a statement. It’s always been a dream to fight there, so I’m very grateful to have this opportunity. I’m planning on putting on a big show on October 28th!”
