Marc-Antoine Dequoy had a lot to say after the Alouettes’ victory in the 110th Gray Cup.
In an interview with Sports Network, the Quebec native criticized broadcaster TSN for not giving the Alouettes much credit in the final.
“They never believed in us, never. You look everywhere and it’s written in English! On TSN it was Toronto vs. Winnipeg. But, you know what? Keep your English! We’re going to bring the trophy back to Montreal, we’re going to bring it back to Quebec, we’re going to bring it home because we’re fucking champions!” declared Dequoy in a legendary interview.
The Quebecer was referring to the demonstration in Hamilton, but only in English, even though the Montreal team took part in the event. He also alluded to the TSN schedule guide, which spoke of a final between the Argonauts and the Blue Bombers.
The victory speech is just as epic as the Alouettes’ victory in this monolingual English Gray Cup.
