Keith Law’s overall wins for each team, plus awards and playoff picks

I have been making extensive predictions of every upcoming Major League Baseball season for at least the last twelve years, with rankings and award winners and the like, and despite the fact that I always point out that these are for entertainment purposes only and I have no bearing on the games or individual players have, people still get angry about it. Those same people won’t see me mocking them because none of them ever read the intro; They just press Ctrl-F and see how many wins I’ve predicted for their favorite team this year. However, unless I start throwing much harder in the next 48 hours, nothing I do or say will make a difference in the real world, so just enjoy the predictions below for what they are.

The Blue Jays have certainly done the most to improve their club of anyone in the division this winter, although they also suffered the biggest loss to free agency (Cy Young winner Robbie Ray) and therefore had the greatest urgency. They signed one of the best starters in the majors last year, Kevin Gausman, to replace Ray. They filled their third base hole with Matt Chapman while signing Chapman and José Berrios for contract extensions and adding Yusei Kikuchi for the end of the rotation despite his terrible second-half meltdown.
