Kendall Jenner and her NBA boyfriend Devin Booker have been together for over a year, and after Jenner shared photos of them together on Instagram for months, Booker is ready to open up about their relationship to the press. Booker was asked by WSJ magazine about what it’s like to be in the spotlight of his personal life, given the fact that he’s dating one of the most famous women in the world.
“I would not say [it’s been] hard,” he said. “Honestly, I enjoy life to the fullest and it slipped off my tongue so easily because it wasn’t always like this, but I feel like I’m in a good place now. I love my family, I love the people around me, and I love the impact I can have on the world, on the rising generation under me, and on the children who look up to me.”
He also turned to the advice he received, which helped him in everything. “Be a legend” is the advice Kobe left me in the short time I spent with him in our last game against each other, Booker said. “He left a mark on my shoe and wrote: ‘Be a legend. And not only did he write it on the shoe and sign it for me, but he just told me about it and told me the steps he was going to take to get there. Kobe has always been an inspiration, so what I hear in his voice and see in his handwriting on the sneakers motivates me.”

Jenner first talked about Booker in June 2021, confirming that he was her “boyfriend” during a special Keeping Up With the Kardashians reunion. She also revealed why she kept her relationship off the show.
“Kylie and I have had the opportunity to watch our older sisters go through marriages, relationships, breakups and all, and do it quite publicly,” she said. “And no offense to you guys at all, but I think it was a personal preference from a very young age that I didn’t want to [do that]. I think it makes my life a lot easier and our relationship a lot better, to be completely honest. I just feel like it’s a private matter and no one else can judge or know.”
