(CNN) — Chris Rock’s brother wants Will Smith to take his Best Actor Oscar away.
In an interview with the Los Angeles Times, Kenny Rock opened up about his feelings about Will Smith slapping his brother at the Academy Awards.
“It gnaws at me to watch this over and over again because you saw one of your loved ones attacked. And there’s nothing you can do about it,” Kenny Rock told the newspaper. “Every time I watch the videos, it’s like a re-enactment playing over and over in my head.”
“My brother wasn’t a threat to him and you just didn’t have any respect for him at the time,” he added. “You just put him in front of millions of people watching the ceremony.”
