Kenny Pickett makes fans worry about his 8 1/2-inch hands.
The University of Pittsburgh’s quarterback became a hot topic on Twitter on Thursday after his hands were measured at the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis.
Pickett’s hands are smaller than any active quarterback in the NFL, lagging behind Saints QB Taysom Hill, whose hands recorded 8 3/4 inches.
No quarterback from the first round has measured less than nine inches from thumb to little finger since the combine began measurements (Hill did not participate in 2017).
The size of Pickett’s hand was a hot topic ahead of the NFL 2022 draft, which will take place from April 28-30, as some critics believe that Pete’s 23-year-old product will have trouble catching a bigger ball the size of NFL. Sources suspect that the cold-based Broncos may be worried about the quarterback’s small hands gripping football.
Pickett said he was doing exercises designed to extend his arms.
“There hasn’t been much talk about it in all the formal and informal interviews I’ve had this week,” said New Jersey’s Ocean Township. “What he measures, he measures. I am sure this will not be the last [the talk]but this will be the last measurement I will make. Your feed is your resume. All these other things are the boxes you need to check before the draft. “

Pickett, the highest-rated QB in the NFL 2022 draft, says he has been exercising to increase the size of his arm.
Picket impressed NFL scouts with his detailed passing, athleticism and throwing skills. He ended his senior campaign at Pete with a throw of 4,319 yards, 42 touchdowns and just one interception. He finished third in the Heisman Trophy, which went to Alabama quarterback Bryce Young.
“Pickett is a proven winner who has to be a good starter for a long time, so he has to be first,” an NFL talent scout told The Post.
Pickett led Pete to the first-ever Atlantic Coast Conference championship with a victory over Wake Forest on December 4. He made headlines about his fake skating during a 58-yard touchdown run that led to an NCAA ban on the move.
The future professional announced his engagement to his girlfriend Amy Paternoster in January, a month after announcing the NFL 2022 draft.
