In the film, which premieres February 10, Moore plays Keisha Gaithers, a mother on a tireless search for her daughter.

It's a true story about a young woman named Carlesha who outsmarts her kidnapper by using breadcrumbs to create a trail that helps investigators find her.

“You have to be a mother to know what a mother would do,” Moore told Today.com this week.

“It brings out my greatest fear – something could happen to your children,” she explained of the role.

Kenya also revealed about her little daughter Brooklyn: “I taught my child how to fight, how not to touch weapons, how to hide when in danger, what to do if lost, how to use a cell phone – and how “stay calm.”
