During a joint interview on Good Morning Britain on Monday, the former EastEnders actress, 21, shared his enthusiasm for the role, noting it was the “best” thing she’s ever done.

The couple, who originally danced together in 2019’s Children In Need Strictly Christmas Special, have been rehearsing for their new show for months.
And it seems that their hard work has paid off as the show has already garnered great reviews from its first few shows.
Speaking to hosts Susanna Reid and Martin Lewis about the role, former Strictly Come Dancing pro Kevin said, “This is an absolute dream come true to play Scott and Fran at the Strictly Ballroom.”

When asked if this was the best thing she’s ever done, Maisie replied: “It absolutely is!
“It unfolded so beautifully from day one. It’s been so wonderful to be able to do it as a team and to see it on stage every night in front of such a reactive audience, it feels really great.’
Elsewhere, things appear to be going well in her personal life as well, as Maisie is currently dating fellow Strictly alumni Max George.

And to explain her excitement, Stacey appeared on The One Show just days later to gush about the good news.
“I’m delighted, I can’t believe it,” she said excitedly to host Ronan after he congratulated her.
Ronan told the journalist: “We have to start by saying congratulations, big news from you and Kevin today.”
“Thanks buddy, I can’t believe it. I’m really happy, I feel really happy. Because I’m 35, so you never take it for granted,” Stacey explained.
Stacey and Kevin were crowned Strictly Champions in 2018 after winning viewers’ hearts with their incredible partnership – which made things romantic after leaving the show.
