Kevin Costner is officially back on the market.
The “Yellowstone” actor finalized his divorce from ex-wife Christine Baumgartner in a Santa Barbara court nine months after she filed to end their 18-year marriage, according to documents obtained by Fox News Digital.
“The court finds that the parties agree that the MSA (Marital Settlement Agreement) is fair and reasonable,” the documents state. “The court approves the MSA in its entirety.”

Baumgartner initially filed for divorce in May 2023, and the estranged couple reached an agreement in September, sources told Fox News Digital at the time. In California, a period of six months from the date of filing is required before a divorce can be finalized.

Judge Thomas Anderle signed the divorce decree two days after Valentine's Day. A notice of judgment was filed on February 20th.

Their split began on an acrimonious note when the handbag designer took Costner to court over child support and the validity of their prenuptial agreement.

Baumgartner initially requested $248,000 in monthly support for her three children, and Anderle set a preliminary monthly amount of $129,755 in July, later ruling that Costner was actually responsible for monthly support payments of $63,209 would be.

Before the custody battle, Costner had offered to pay $75,000 a month.

The final judgment awarded Christine monthly support payments of $12,642 for Cayden, 17, an additional $18,962 for Hayes, 16, and $31,605 for Grace, 13, to be paid on the first of each month .

According to the documents, the former couple agreed to joint custody and custody, with a holiday schedule set forth in the MSA.
Costner is also solely responsible for the couple's children's health care, private school tuition, extracurricular activities and car expenses.

Before the former couple signed a settlement agreement, Costner exclusively told Fox News Digital that there were no winners in their divorce battle.

“You know, when you live such a long life with someone, there's no winner… and it's this big, crazy thing called life and how it unravels so quickly,” he said. “One moment you feel like you’re on top of the world, and then you realize how…vulnerable you are.”

As for his co-parenting plan with Baumgartner, Costner was confident the two could work it out.

“She is an incredible mother,” said the TV star. “We will find out and share it. We just need to recover.”
