The 68-year-old Yellowstone star – who recently unveiled the trailer for his new western – enjoyed lunch with a group – which included daughter Annie Costner, 40 – north of Santa Barbara, California, on Thursday.
The actor, dressed in a casual V-neck sweater and khakis, stayed close to his eldest child as he left The Boathouse restaurant.
He exchanged a hug with another friend while maintaining a cool demeanor with black sunglasses and white sneakers.
The outing comes after Kevin and Christine sign a prenuptial agreement and file it with the court.

Christine filed for divorce in May 2023 and despite the six-month wait in California, the case is now closed after nine months.
While the exact details of the settlement are not being disclosed, TMZ reports that the couple's prenuptial agreement was approved by the judge.
Both ex-spouses sought joint custody, and Christine receives $63,209 a month in child support.
The couple signed a divorce agreement in September 2023 after 18 years of marriage.
They decided to forgo co-parenting classes, which are usually mandatory in such cases.
The former couple, parents to Cayden, 16, Hayes, 14, and Grace, 13, divorced last year.
It was recently revealed that Christine is dating her former neighbor Josh Connor, which raised Costner's suspicions about their relationship, Us Week reported last month.
