The actor and comedian Kevin Hart has filed a lawsuit against the YouTuber for extortion and defamation LaTasha Kebealso known as Tasha K.
According to documents obtained by Page Six, Kebe threatened to publish an interview with Hart's former assistant, Miesha Shakesunless the actor paid him a six-figure ransom.
The lawsuit alleges that Kebe recorded an interview with Shakes in November 2023 in which he allegedly made false and defamatory statements against the star of “One and a half spies.”

After the interview, an alleged Kebe partner called Hart's team and threatened to publish the interview unless the $250,000 ransom was paid, as they claimed that the stories would harm the comedian's reputation in connection with his marriage and would harm his business.
“The teaser included a statement from Kebe at the 2:06 mark of the video in which he specifically warned, 'If you don't pay, we will have to get the money by any means necessary,'” the lawsuit says.
According to the international media, youtuber published a preview of the interview and described its contents as a threat to Hart for not paying the ransom.
The demand claims that Hart's team contacted the police and sent Kebe a cease and desist letter. However, the full interview was published on Kebe's website after the warning was reportedly ignored.
In the interview, Shakes made several claims about Hart, including allegations about his personal life and gambling addiction; Because of this, the comedian is suing both women for blackmail and invasion of privacy.
Kevin, 44, is also suing his former assistant for breach of contract and defamation.
The prosecution is also trying to hold Kebe liable for intentionally disrupting contractual relationships.
This is not the first time LaTasha Kebe is having legal trouble, having previously been found liable in a defamation lawsuit filed by the rapper Cardi Bwho received more than $3 million in compensation.
