On Monday, WWE Hall of Famer Kevin Nash shared the heartbreaking news of Hall of Famer and close friend Scott Hall, stating that Hall would soon be off life support due to health complications from hip surgery.

In his Instagram post, Nash wrote:

“Scott is on life support. Once his family is in place, they will cut off life support. I will lose the only person on this planet with whom I have lived more of my life than anyone else. My heart is broken and I’m so damn sad. I love Scott with all my heart, but now I need to prepare my life without him in the present.”

Wade Keller of PWTorch reported Sunday that Hall was put on life support after suffering three heart attacks following hip surgery. Keller added that the 63-year-old man had a “major complication” when a blood clot broke off.

Earlier in March, Hall’s friend and former wrestling promoter Jerry Jarrett announced via Facebook that Hall had fractured his hip in a fall (h/t TMZ Sports).

The legendary wrestler has had hip problems, most notably undergoing hip replacement surgery in 2013 after WWE Hall of Famer Diamond Dallas Page helped raise $80,000 for the surgery.

In his Instagram post, Nash wrote that he was “blessed” to have a friend like Hall who “enriched” his life. Also, while Hall was nicknamed the Bad Boy in Wrestling, Nash called Hall a “great guy” and remarked that “you won’t see another like him again.”

Hall started wrestling in 1984. He is best known in WWE for his time under the ring name Razor Ramon from 1992 to 1996 and his tenure in WCW under his real name from 1996 to 2000.

Like Ramon, Hall was one of WWE’s biggest and most charismatic stars. He has never been a WWE Champion, but has consistently competed in the Intercontinental Championship, winning it four times.

In 1996, Hall and Nash switched businesses from WWE to WCW. They formed a team called the Outsiders and were founding members of the New World Order along with “Hollywood” Hulk Hogan.

Hall has won the WCW World Tag Team Championship seven times, the US Championship twice, and the TV Championship once.

Substance abuse cut short Hall’s wrestling career, but in recent years, with the help of DDP, he has become clean and in better physical shape.

Hall has been rewarded for his hard work by being inducted into the Hall of Fame twice. The first time he came in 2014 as a private individual, and the second time two years ago as part of The NWO.
