WWE legend Scott Hall will be taken off life support, his friend and fellow NWO founding member Kevin Nash announced Sunday.

Scott is on life support. Once his family is in place, life support will be off,” Nash wrote in an emotional tribute to Hall on Instagram, adding an old photo of the couple laughing together.

Hall was put on life support after suffering three heart attacks during his hip replacement surgery on Saturday, according to PW Torch.

Hall, 63, was at Wellstar Kennestone Hospital in Marietta, Georgia to repair a broken hip after a fall.

Hall had previously had heart problems, which resulted in him having a defibrillator and pacemaker implanted in his chest.

“I will lose the only person on this planet who I have spent more of my life with than anyone else,” Nash continued in his Instagram post. “My heart is broken and I’m so damn sad. I love Scott with all my heart, but now I need to prepare my life without him in the present. I was lucky to have a friend who took me at face value, and I him.

“When we came to WCW, we didn’t care who loved or hated us. We had each other, and with the sleek Barry Bloom, we changed wrestling both in content and pay.”

Hall and Nash moved from WWE, where Hall was known as Razor Ramon, to WCW in 1996 and helped turn wrestling’s power structure on its head. Hall and Nash, along with Hulk Hogan, created the NWO, a group that wreaked havoc in WCW.

This angle brought WCW popularity and started the famous Monday Night Wars between WCW’s Nitro and WWE’s Raw.

The wrestling community, including current and former professionals, continue to share supportive messages about Hall on social media.
