The first plaintiff in the London sexual assault trial of Kevin Spacey described the American actor as “a predator” in a police interview broadcast in court on Monday.

Kevin Spacey, 63, convicted last week, has pleaded not guilty to 12 charges of sexually assaulting four men between 2001 and 2013, particularly since 2004 when he was director of London’s Old Vic theatre.
In video of the interrogation, the man says Kevin Spacey assaulted him on numerous occasions, most notably when he was driving him to a lavish party in the early 2000s.
“He grabbed me (privately) so hard I almost ran off the street,” he explained. “I pushed him against the door and said, ‘Don’t do that again or I’ll give you one.'”
According to him, young and handsome men were warned about the actor’s behavior, which he described as “aggressive” and with “very disturbed sexuality”.
They were told to “be careful”. “Everyone knew he was up to no good.”
This alleged victim, who could not be identified for legal reasons, said he was “disgusting” and thought the actor’s attorney Patrick Gibbs’ questions about his sexuality were “ridiculous”.
He answered questions out of sight and also expressed his “shame.”
“Nothing happened between us, he attacked me,” he replied to the actor’s lawyer, denying he had any feelings towards the actor.
He told police that the actor said nothing when he asked Kevin Spacey to stop trying to “grope” him. “He laughed and changed the subject,” he explained.
He told police that he could no longer bear to see Spacey on screen.
The actor, a two-time Oscar winner for his roles in American Beauty and Usual Suspects, was named a “sexual harasser” by prosecutors last week.
These allegations surfaced in 2017 at the dawn of the #MeToo movement, when Kevin Spacey was at the height of his fame starring in the hit Netflix series House of Cards.
In doing so, he was kicked out of the series and other projects he was supposed to be a part of.
During the investigation, Kevin Spacey denied these allegations, saying some were “made up” and other reported acts were “consensual.”
Kevin Spacey, also charged with sexual assault in the US, was found not guilty by a New York civil court last year. And in 2019, charges were dropped in another case.
