Kevin Spacey used his long-dismissed “House of Cards” character to deliver a bizarre and threatening message on Christmas Eve, promoting a fictional presidential candidacy.

The embattled Spacey – who portrayed a conniving politician who eliminated his enemies by any means possible – hinted at a possible 2024 run in a bizarre interview with Tucker Carlson.

“I've always believed that nothing in life or art should be off the table,” Spacey said ominously to Tucker Carlson, in his character's Southern style.

“I think we could both agree that we need to get some adults back in the room. So if that means taking on the role of Chief Executive, then that is a sacrifice I am willing to make for this great nation,” he added.

Spacey revived his strange tradition of posting cryptic videos on Christmas Eve. His character didn't seem to think it was too late to throw his hat in the ring.

“I think there is still time. “I was never afraid of being a little late to the dance,” he continued, later roughly describing running for president as “jumping in the hot tub with a boner.”

Spacey starred in the hit Netflix show as Frank Underwood, a smart and cunning Democrat who rose from House Majority Leader to President by using ruthless tactics that sometimes included assassinating his opponents.

The New Jersey-born actor was later fired from his role in the sixth and final season, which aired in 2018, after multiple sexual assault allegations against him came to light.

Spacey has denied some of the allegations against him and was acquitted of sexual assault charges against four men by a London jury over the summer.

During the crazy interview with Carlson, the scandal-plagued actor wished viewers a Merry Christmas, but his Christmases took a completely different direction to a white Christmas.

“The truth is, there's nothing I love more on this day than to take a hit, drink whiskey and coke, hit a reindeer with my car and wish you all the kinkiest Christmas ever,” he said casually about his Christmas plans .

He had cut similar eyebrow-raising videos for Christmas Eve between 2018 and 2020.

Carlson, who was fired from Fox News in April, seemed at times unsure who he was actually talking to, asking him: “This is like an episode or is it real?”

“Well, it's probably a little bit of both,” Spacey replied enigmatically.

“I mean, Tucker, what’s true, what’s false? What is life? What is art? What is real? What is performance? I love it when those things intersect because that’s when it gets interesting.”

At one point, Spacey embarrassed Carlson and remarked that he would need a vice president.

“What role do you want to play? I mean, if I run, I need a vice president,” Spacey said.

“I’ll sleep on it,” Carlson said without hesitation. He was rumored to be Donald Trump's vice presidential candidate in 2024.

Spacey appeared to stay true to his role, teasing that he would likely be an independent if he hypothetically launched a run.

“I have been independent of my party affiliation my whole life, even if I no longer fully recognize my old party at the moment,” he said.

Underwood was a Democrat on the show and suggested he would restore order as president.

“We’re way too close to having a bean bag chair in the Oval Office. We pamper everyone,” he lamented.

“You think you’re a rabbit? That's fine. But let me tell you something. “You definitely won’t see anyone walking around my White House with bunny ears and a tail unless it’s Easter,” he added, referring to some of the unique characters who have ventured near the mansion.

When asked how the nation got to this place, Spacey replied: “Fear, fear and then more fear.”

Spacey, in his Underwood facade, seemed unhappy with the current flood of candidates vying for the presidency. The first Republican presidential primary contest is scheduled for January 15, 2024 – the Iowa caucuses.

“I like Vivek, empty the Ramaswamy. And Nikki Haley is tough, she's undoubtedly learned a thing or two from watching me,” Spacey said when asked about the 2024 contenders.

“I think in the end we need someone in the White House who isn't afraid like I am – who isn't afraid to push our country or a journalist in the right direction when it comes to that,” he added, pointing out that how Underwood pushed a journalist until her death on the DC subway.

Since leaving Fox News, Carlson has launched a show on X and the subscription service Tucker Carlson Network.

In recent months he has interviewed a number of controversial figures such as Andrew Tate, Alex Jones, Martin Shkreli and others.
