KFC goes for a slimming diet with its menu by eliminating 5 of its customers’ favorite items, including its famous popcorn chicken.
Chicken wings, Nashville Hot Sauce, strawberry soda and chocolate chip cookies will also be permanently removed from the menu, according to USA Today.
Changes to the fast-food multinational’s menu will begin in November.
“We have reduced the options for customers to make it easier for them to decide what to order. We’re focusing on the menu items that we do best,” KFC US executive Brittany Wilson told USA Today.
The new menus will be rolled out nationwide in the United States, according to Fox Business.
“We’re removing items from the menu so we can make room for exciting new additions to the menu in 2023,” says Brittany Wilson.
On February 6, KFC announced it would add fried chicken wraps.
