Khloe Kardashian mourns ex-boyfriend Tristan Thompson mother Andrew died of a fatal heart attack. The Good American founder, 38, took to Instagram on Monday, January 23, as she posted a tribute to the Toronto native, 17 days after her death. “I avoided that… Avoiding accepting this is real. I have so much to say, but nothing at all…. I have so many emotions and I still feel numb,” Khloe began.

“Life can be brutally unfair at times and this has been one of the toughest times of so many of our lives. But at the same time, I feel blessed to have been lucky enough to have had someone who makes saying goodbye so incredibly difficult. So difficult that I choose not to say goodbye for good because I don’t understand it,” she said in the emotional tribute. Khloe has shared a number of sweet photos with Andrea over the years, including a video of her mother Kris Jenner and Andrea, where Tristan’s mom said, “I don’t have a daughter — but when I text Khloe, I always text ‘to my daughter.'”
Khloe promised she would “see” Andrea again as she continued her tribute to her ex’s mother. “Goodbye forever is something I don’t believe in. I KNOW I will see you again. I know I will hear your sweet voice and infectious laughter again. I know I’ll feel your hug,” she said as well. “I will see you again with the many who have gone before you, whom I so desperately miss, love and cherish. So I choose to say I miss you until I see you back in heaven, and I will miss you more and more every day.”
In the lengthy note, she also vowed to “look after” Andrea’s son – and Tristan’s brother. Amari. “I know that you are with our Lord and Savior. I know you’re happy up there. Dancing and singing… At the same time, I know you never wanted to leave your boys. They are your whole world. They will learn to live with the hole in their hearts because they are warriors just like their warrior mom. You just have to know, I promise you, Amari will be fine. We will all take care of him, help him and protect him. Your boys will be fine because they have their guardian angel by their side,” she captioned, along with a scripture from John 16:22, and “I love you.”

News of Andrea’s death surfaced on Friday, January 6, which the 31-year-old NBA star confirmed through his representative HollywoodLife. It was reported that his mother was taken to a Toronto hospital after the attack, where doctors tried to revive her but unfortunately were unable before she died.
Although Khloe and Tristan split in December 2021 following another cheating scandal, the Kardashians star was by his side on Hulu when they arrived in Toronto together on a private jet on Jan. 6. The couple were seen descending the plane stars as they arrived at Pearson International Airport, both wrapped up for the chilly temperatures in sweatsuits, coats and beanies.
