The family that little Susan left for Florida with never actually went to the United States. The child has lived her whole life between Canada, Australia and New Zealand, the wrong parents always told her they had adopted her. After the tragic death, the desperate family had lost all hope. A five-decade long wait. The incredible reunion took place thanks to a Facebook call from Susan’s husband from Australia, where the couple lives. Less than 30 minutes after the release, relatives in Pontefract, West Yorkshire, immediately spoke up by answering the phone.
So Susan was able to see four of her six siblings again. Mom died 8 years ago. Susan, who now runs the Fresh Start Mission charity with her husband Hamilton, 57, learned the truth when she initiated her passport renewal and found out the people who had always told her they were her adoptive parents , never actually adopted him and that there was no certificate of that.
