Co-parenting with Yeezy isn’t easy, according to Kim Kardashian.
The reality TV icon cried as she described the struggles of raising four children with ex-husband Kanye West on Monday’s episode of the Angie Martinez IRL podcast.
“Co-parenting is difficult,” admitted Kardashian, 42, who shares North, 9, Saint, 7, Chicago, 4, and Psalm, 3, with West, 45.
“It’s really freaking hard,” she added.
The Skims founder explained that she is making a concerted effort to protect her children from her father’s controversial behavior, including a spate of anti-Semitic attacks perpetrated by the rapper this year.

“I had the best dad and I had the best memories and the greatest experiences and that’s all I want for my kids as long as they can have that,” explained Kardashian, who was very close to her late father, Robert Kardashian.
“I would wish that for her,” Kim continued. “If they don’t know what’s being said or what’s happening in the world, why should I bring them this energy? This is some serious adult shit they are not ready to deal with.
The Kardashians star said she’ll be “so prepared” when her kids eventually start asking questions about their father’s public misdeeds. In the meantime, Kim’s brood won’t hear a bad word about West — at least not from her.
“One day my kids will thank me for sitting here and not hitting their dad when I could,” she told host Angie Martinez. “All that crazy stuff. They will thank me and I will privately answer anything they want to know. It’s no longer my place to step in.”

However, Kim admitted that it has become increasingly difficult to remain silent about West’s headlines.
“I definitely protected him and will still do it for my children in the eyes of my children. At my house, my kids don’t know anything about what’s going on in the outside world…I’m holding on to a thread,” she admitted.
“I know I’m so close that that’s not going to happen. As long as that happens, I will protect this to the end of the world as long as I can.”
Kim filed for divorce in February 2021 after seven years of marriage.

After months of several failed public attempts by West to win back his former wife, a judge declared the fashion designer and Keeping Up With the Kardashians graduate legally single in March 2022.
They finalized their divorce on November 29th. They currently have custody with “equal access” to their four children, according to court documents obtained by Page Six, with West Kardashian paying $200,000 a month in child support.
Per TMZ, the matriarch has the kids 80 percent of the time — as West previously admitted in September.

A week before their settlement made headlines, West was accused of showing pornography — and explicit photos of Kim — to former employees who spoke to Rolling Stone for a scathing synopsis.
West had previously spoken out about his “porn addiction” and said it had “devastated” his family.
“Hollywood is one giant brothel. Pornography destroyed my family. I deal with the addiction that Instagram fuels,” he wrote in September in a since-deleted Instagram post. “I’m not going to do that to Northy and Chicago.”
