Kim Kardashian is said to be furious with Kanye West over his Eazy music video, in which the rapper buries his current boyfriend Pete Davidson alive.

The dark cartoon was released hours after Kim was declared “legally single” by a US court, more than a year after she first filed for divorce from Kanye.

The video shows a clay animation of Kanye kidnapping Pete, placing a bag over his head, tying him up, and throwing him on the back of a van before burying him alive.

The video ends with Kanye sprinkling seeds on his “love rival” as roses grow on his head.

Fans reacted with horror that the video was posted this week, with sources close to Kim, 41, revealing how upset she is about the dark content.

“Kim thinks it’s too cruel and is upset,” a source told PEOPLE.

“She is very upset that Kanye did this. She is completely done with it all and wants it to stop.”

The source also claims that Kim couldn’t understand why Kanye would agree to such a “violent” post, but spoke about letting their eight-year-old daughter North have a TikTok account.

On his latest track, Kanye raps, “God saved me from the crash so I could kick Pete Davidson’s ass.”

Due to the backlash, the video was removed from Kanye’s Instagram page.

The rap star used his social media page to rant about his ongoing split from Kim, with whom he made no secret of his hopes for a reconciliation.

However, Kim seems to turn a blind eye to his pleas to “keep the family together” as she still loves Saturday Night Live comedian Pete, who is 13 years her junior.

She defended her beau from Kanye’s followers by choosing to “like” a tweet by Suicide Squad director James Gunn, who tweeted in the midst of the video’s furor: “For the record, Pete Davidson is one of the sweetest and nicest guys I know. A truly generous, gentle and cheerful spirit. He treats everyone around him with respect.”

After briefly addressing the dispute, a People Kardashian source said that Kim’s top priority is protecting her children.

“She’s very angry at violence and just thinks it’s inappropriate and wrong.”

Kim and Kanye share custody of their children North, Chicago, four, Saint, six, and Psalm, two.

After their split, Kim moved on to SNL comedian Pete after the pair starred on a show together and even kissed during one sketch.

The union didn’t sit well with Kanye, who dated Julia Fox and Cheney Jones, after breaking up with Kim, who made fun of SNL’s appearance in his new music.

The 44-year-old rapper sampled Kim’s monologue in which she called him “the greatest rapper of all time” and “the richest black man in America” in the track “Sci Fi”.

Kim filed for divorce from Kanye last February after nearly seven years of marriage.
